Landing & First Impressions
The gateway page, navigation, and world intro flows
Both
The landing page is a single gateway to the wellness experience. It features an interactive sheep hero and a "Take a Tour" overlay. On /wellness, three world cards (Wander, Meadow, Village) each lead to a synopsis intro page before entering the world. All three worlds have first-visit tutorial overlays.
🏠
Gateway page loads with wellness entry, interactive sheep, and Take a Tour button
Visit the homepage. Verify the wellness entry card, an interactive sheep character, and a "Take a Tour" button are all present and working.
From /wellness, click the Wander card — verify URL goes to /wellness/wander/synopsis
Verify the synopsis page shows a narrative intro and a "Begin" CTA
Go back, click Meadow — verify /meadow/synopsis loads with its own narrative
Go back, click Village — verify /wellness/village/synopsis loads
On each synopsis, click "Begin" — verify it enters the actual world
+ Add Note
📚
New user tutorials — all 3 worlds have tutorial overlays (Next / Back / Skip)
On first visit to each world, a tutorial overlay should appear. It must have Next, Back, and Skip buttons and must not re-appear on return visits.
Clear localStorage (or use incognito) to simulate a fresh user
Enter Wander — verify tutorial overlay appears with step navigation
Click Next and Back — verify steps advance and retreat
Click Skip — verify the overlay closes immediately
Repeat for Meadow and Village — each should have its own tutorial
Re-enter each world after completing tutorial — verify it does NOT re-appear
